Commencement

Well, it’s all over. I am officially a Master of Education — or at least that’s what my diploma says.

This weekend, I and over half of my family graduated from BJU (and BJA). Dad got a Doctor of Education degree, I received a Master of Education degree, Abby got her Bachelor of Arts degree, and Anthony was awarded his high school diploma.

I have added pictures to the gallery from the two ceremonies: Anthony’s graduation and the BJU commencement.

As the commencement photos show, we had quite a party in the afternoon after the ceremony. It was cold and rainy, but we had a pavilion on the campus with gas grills for hot dogs and hamburgers. Lots of friends and family were there. I think everyone enjoyed it.

One of the guests was a reporter from the Greenville News. He came on Grandma Q’s request (with Lincoln as a proxy). The story appeared in the next day’s paper, and it can also be found online. If you look in the photo galleries, there is a gallery of the Academy graduation as well.
