In case anyone was confused, I am not singing in the opera at BJU this week.
If you google my name, my site (this one) is the second link. In a wonderful twist of irony, the guy whose site is first is singing one of the lead roles in BJU’s production. I’ve actually known that he was going to be doing it for a while. One of the times that I googled my own name, I clicked on his performance schedule and saw that he would be at BJU for this year’s Barber of Seville production. Alas, it will be the first (or nearly the first–I’ve forgotten for sure) BJU opera that I haven’t attended in a very long time. Someone get his autograph for me. :-p
Ha. I saw a copy of the Collegian while I was home this past weekend, and thought that maybe I was just doing a really, really bad job of keeping up with your lives!
Well, we heard Andrew Garland tonight, and I can highly recommend him if you do need an operatic baritone. He is quite excellent both in singing and in acting.
And I’ll see what I can do about the autograph.
I got you an autograph.
I got you one too.
